Why I Chose This Team
I chose this team /school not only because I have some family that has attended, but I want. I saw that there was a wrestling program being built, and I wanted to be the first to make national history at the school.
Why I Wrestle
I wrestle because it helps keep me accountable and disciplined, and pushes me every single day. As well please an important rule in who I am as a person and help me grow as an individual seeing as grappling has always been something close in my life. As well, gives me an opportunity to stand for something and represent something.
Favorite Wrestling Memory
One of my favorite wrestling memories definitely has to be traveling across states to Louisiana with my team, not only at Monmouth but travel teams as well being able to help the youth be disciplined, learn respect, and help shape them into being great people as they grow.
Favorite Wrestler or Athlete
I am my own favorite wrestler/athlete. I do think there are a lot of greats out there that have made their mark in the sport, but no one knows their own journey but themselves and just seeing you know the heart and grind and discipline and the ups and downs that I’ve went through only keep me pushing myself every single day. But I don’t know man Sergio Vega impressed me a lot last season 😂
Career Goal
My career goal at Monmouth is to All-American and continue making it to nationals and the big one obviously being a national champion in the NCWA, following up with that complete one of my dreams of making the Colombian world team and wrestling internationally.
Something You May Not Know
Something people may not know about me is not only do I wrestle but as well Brazilian jiu-jitsu boxing MMA and kickboxing, I’m also a personal trainer and I own a startup business where I sell supplements and make gym merchandise and train high level athletes.
